"Gardens located in the city center, in the La Pescadería area. They are one of the oldest gardens in the city, dating from the mid-19th century (1868). In them there are various monuments and emblematic modernist buildings such as La Terraza (1922) or the Alfonso Kiosk (1912). Various activities take place throughout the year in the gardens: book, craft, and gastronomy fairs; musical and dance performances, painting exhibitions, etc. It has 3 different areas: a wooded area with various species (genera Ilex, Araucaria, Magnolia, Fagus, Taxus, Abies, etc.), a rose garden with a great diversity of varieties and the Paseo de las Palmeras or El Relleno area."
