This place has become famous in the fall of 2006, with the news reporting on this location. It has been brought to light with a developer wanting to develop the land and finding this ancient pictograph. The then Mayor of Eagle Moutain Olsen said that he wanted to preserve this location.
The site can be accessed 24/7. You can park by the side of the road or drive back to it. There are no fences to walk through. There is only this set of pictographs on the rock.
The Ute Indians (Timpanogos Utes)once inhabitated the Utah Valley. Father Dominquez and Father Escalante came into the Utah Valley in September of 1776 by the way of the Spanish Fork Canyon and met up with these Indians. They were impressed with the valley and the peaceful character of the Indians.
Whether or not this was left by them is to be decided.
