An art deco private house on King Edward Road near the Groudle MER station.

Typical features art deco features of the house are that it is a two-storey property with a flat roof a block glass wall and the curved Crittall-Hope style bay window. Originally the windows would all have been steel-framed and of a similar design to those in the projecting staircase above the front door. The walls are finished with smooth white render.

The building is described by Patricia Tutt in 'An introduction to the Architecture of the Isle of Man'(ISBN: 978-1-907945-10-6)
as follows:
"Here the projecting staircase bay provided shelter at the front door and the first-floor bay window is designed to offer a grand view of the TT races.'

It questionable whether the bay window ever offer views of the TT races as none of the circuits used for these races passed this house. It is true however that the window does offer an panoramic view.
