This is a wood sign showing the fire danger rating for the day. Standing alongside the sign is a wood depiction of Smokey Bear, with a shovel in his right hand.

The sign is well maintained, and provided by the Lexington Rural Fire Association. On the day in October when we visited, the fire danger was Moderate.
