EN: The source of the Hemmikerbach is located northeast of Hemmiken, which it crosses on its course. After about 3.5 kilometers in a predominantly southwesterly direction, it flows into the Ergolz in the east of Ormalingen.
The Ergolz is the largest river in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. It rises in the Schafmatt south of Oltingen at 960 meters above sea level and flows into the Rhine at Augst after 28 kilometers in a mostly northern or northwestern direction.
The confluence is located at the eastern edge of Ormalingen. The Hemmikerbach passes under the main road only a few meters before the confluence, where there is also a bus stop.
DE: Die Quelle des Hemmikerbachs befindet sich nordöstlich von Hemmiken, das er auf seinem Lauf durchquert. Nach rund 3.5 Kilometern in vorwiegend südwestlicher Richtung mündet er im Osten von Ormalingen in die Ergolz.
Die Ergolz ist der grösste Fluss des Kantons Basel-Landschaft. Sie entspringt in der Schafmatt südlich von Oltingen auf 960 Meter über Meer und mündet nach 28 Kilometern in meist nördlicher oder norwestlicher Richtug bei Augst in den Rhein.
Der Zusammenfluss befindet sich am Ostrand von Ormalingen. Der Hemmikerbach unterquert nur ein paar Meter vor der Mündung die Hauptstrasse, wo sich auch eine Bushaltestelle befindet.
