Here is some strange Carnegie trivia. Back when I was in high school (mid 1970s) it was the practice on Saturday night to drive all the way from OKC (or wherever) to Carnegie and cruise Main Street. There was one drive-in restaurant (I don't remember what it was called but I do remember ordering French fried pickles there) and it was always completely packed. They must have made a fortune on weekends. I have no idea why we did this but it was a lot of fun!
