This water tower stands on a hill 102 metres high in the east of the City of Leeds.

The tower stands next to a small service reservoir. It is owned, managed and maintained by Yorkshire Water.
The tower has a number of radio aerials attached to the sides.
The hill is the highest point in Garforth by quite a large margin.
