Det gamle vartegn for slagteriet, tyren, er placeret ved vejen til havnen. Den blev oprindeligt placeret ved eksportstaldene i 1939. Skulpturen blev lavet i bronceplader af Niels Petersen, og var en bestilling i anledning af eksportstaldenes udvidelse. Da eksportstaldene blev nedlagt blev tyren flyttet til sin nuværende placering overfor slagteriet. Man kan ikke undgå at se den store skulptur, når man kører forbi.




The old landmark of the slaughterhouse, the bull, is located by the road to the port. It was originally placed at the export stables in 1939. The sculpture was made in bronze plates by Niels Petersen, and was an order on the occasion of the expansion of the export stables. When the export stables were closed down, the bull was moved to its current location opposite the slaughterhouse. You can not avoid seeing the large sculpture as you drive past.
