Das Denkmal besteht neben einer großen runden Säule welche ein Kreuz und die Aufschrift "Unseren Gefallen zum Gedenken" trägt aus 4 einzelnen aus Granit gefertigte Stelen.
Wenn man vor dem Denkmal steht, so befindet sich links von der runden Säule die Stele mit den Namen der im ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen Soldaten.
Rechts der runden Säule stehen 2 Stelen mit den Namen der im zweiten Weltkrieg gefallenen Soldaten.
Die Stele welche ganz rechts angeordnet ist trägt die Namen der im zweiten Weltkrieg vermißten Soldaten

On the square in front of the church in Bergatreute stands the memorial for the fallen and missing soldiers of both world wars.
The memorial consists of a large round column with a cross and the inscription "Our Fallen In Memory" made of 4 individual granite steles.
When you stand in front of the memorial, to the left of the round column is the stele with the names of the soldiers who fell in World War I.
To the right of the round column are 2 steles with the names of the soldiers who died in World War II.
The stele on the far right bears the names of the soldiers who went missing in World War II
