The Glen Auldyn Weir can be found on the Auldyn River as it flows through Glen Auldyn and was once used to pond the rivers flow so that it could be diverted to the building on the opposite side of the B16 minor road.
The sluice gate which allowed the diversion is still in place, immediately upstream of the weir.
Today the building to which the diversion was directed is a domestic residence but in the past it may well have been a farmstead or a mill for producing bread flour.
