[EN] The helicopter landing platform completed in 2018 has been completed on the roof of the TYKS hospital section of Turku University Central Hospital. It is about 40 meters high and 30 meters in diameter. The specially reinforced structure had to be raised higher when it was found that the hospital extensions would jeopardize its use in the future.
The landing site code is EFTV. The field was opened on June 16, 2018. The ambulance airport has direct access to the hospital's emergency room. The Border Guard Squadron stationed in Turku by the Finnish Border Guard also uses the field for its training flights. [FIN] Turun Yliopistollisen Keskussairaalan TYKS:n T2-sairaalaosan katolla on vuonna 2018 valmistunut helikopterin laskeutumistasanne. Se on noin 40 merin korkeudella ja halkaisija on 30 metriä. Kenttää käyttää harjoituslennoillaan myös Rajavartioston Turkuun sijoitettu Vartiolentolaivue.
