Wendet man vom Parkplatz mit dem Kriegerdenkmal sein Blick nach Norden dem Aufstieg zum Schloß zu. aber bevor man den Aufstieg über die Stadtgasse startet, den Blick nach links wendet so sieht man etwas versteckt hinter Büschen diesen alten Brunnen.
Die hexagonale aus Stahl gefertigte Brunnenwanne trägt an zwei Seiten das Wappen der Stadt Biedenkopf und die Zahlen 1880 als das Jahr der Fertigung.
Die aus Beton gefertigte Brunnensäule trägt den mit einem Löwenkopf verzierten Wasserzulauf
