Henry Burum's tree stump WOW headstone is an eye-catcher. We've seen a lot of tree stump markers and never have seen one of this magnitude. The headstone designer must have really had fun with this one. It's a WOW on steroids - a definite WOW!!
Using the tree stump design, this headstone is a good twice as wide as most. It stands on two horizontal logs which extend out from each side. The stump has two large tree trunks extending from the top, as well as a cut off branch probably 10 inches in diameter from the side. The usual calla lilies and vines are engraved, but they all stand out in relief.
The inscription is engraved on an area set in behind some of the leaves. It reads:
