Once a busy mining and agricultural town, today Lehigh only has a population of 285. The Lehigh Cemetery has 1812 burials at the time of this posting.
The cemetery is a long rectangle, north/south. The land is flat and well maintained, with driving paths running in both directions. The Woodmen of the world organization must have been very active in this town, as we easily noted nine WOW headstones.
The overhead arch reading LEHIGH CEMETERY is at the north end of Pecan Street. This paved road continues into the cemetery, with gravel drives bisecting other parts of the area. An open pavilion is located just inside the main entrance for funeral services.
