Woodman Cemetery is a small isolated area north of Highway 43, east of town. Lafayette Smallwood's headstone is a Woodmen of the World tree stump which stands on four horizontal logs, engraved with calla lilies. Several leaves are engraved at the bottom of the tree.
His inscription is engraved on a shield and reads:
