This former gymnasium and auditorium is located among other newer school buildings. It was placed on the National Register in 1988 and was still in use at that time. Today, it is boarded up and not in use.
This is a one-story building constructed of rusticated and roughly coursed native sandstone. The gable roof has been covered with metal sheeting. All windows have been infilled with wood boarding. The entrances have double metal doors and are recessed beneath projected facades and pediments. The openings are arched. Above the main entrance facing east is a stone panel which reads "AUDITORIUM / WPA / 1936". A bronze WPA shield is attached to the projected entrance.
