The Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department is located at 400 S. Harrison Avenue adjacent to City Hall. This siren is mounted atop a tall wood pole . It is a stationary unit with three tiers of sirens, with six baffles giving it a 360 degree sounding pattern.

The siren would be sounded for fire emergencies as well as to alert of incoming severe weather. This siren is located on the west end of the downtown area and serves this town of about 500 population.
