Mary S. Bean has a traditional WOW tree stump headstone in Byrds Prairie Cemetery, about two miles south of town. It stands on four horizontal logs. The logs are engraved with calla lilies. A vine is engraved alongside the inscription.
The inscription is engraved on a shield and reads:
