Right on State 115 is MILLIS, 0.2 m. (town, alt. 167, pop. 2098, sett. 1657, in- corp. 1885), on the west bank of the winding Charles, named in honor of Lansing Millis.

Back here for the second time. The picture I took in October was inadequate and came back for a better one. Millis is getting into that unaffordable section east of Boston as a relatively affluent Boston suburb. Home to quite a few famous companies that are out of business, such as Herman Shoe Company and Clicquot Club, which distributed the first brand of ginger ale in the United States. I thought Canada Dry was king of the ginger ale market. Alas Canada Dry acquired Clicquot Club.
