Na skrzyżowaniu ulic Bodycha oraz Ryżowej znajduje się pomnik upamiętniający sześciu polskich żołnierzy, poległych w trakcie walk z okupantem hitlerowskim. Napis na pomniku głosi:
"Czołem żołnierzom polskim poległym za wolność i demokrację.
W dniu 6 marca 1944 roku w Opaczy przy ulicy Wiśniowej polegli w walce z okupantem hitlerowskim:

At the intersection of Bodycha and Ryżowa streets there is a monument commemorating six Polish soldiers killed during the fight against the Nazi occupant. The inscription on the monument states:
"Salute to Polish soldiers fallen for freedom and democracy.
On 6 March 1944 in Opacza, Wiśniowa Street, the following soldiers were killed during the fight against the Nazi occupant
