This water tower stands on a hill 95 metres high in the east of the City of Leeds.

The tower was built in 1924 in the south west corner of Middleton Park and stands next to a small service reservoir. It is owned and maintained by Yorkshire Water.
The tower has a number of radio aerials attached to the sides.
