In the door of the Coruña Town Hall there are four gold medals with the shields of the four provinces of Galicia. There are a little time-worn. "The shield of Ourense appears in a field of silver, on waves of azure and silver that represent a flow of water (river Miño), a bridge of five golden arcs, added in its right by a castle of gold, battlemented, mazonado of saber and cleared of goals and to his left, a rampant lion, armed with nails and a sole of gold that raises on his right a sword of the same metal, and in the center of the head of the shield a closed royal crown. The shield is stamped with another royal crown, lined with goals, or red, closed, which is a circle of gold, set with precious stones, composed of eight florets of acanthus leaves, visible five, interpolated with pearls and each of the its leaves leave five diadems added of pearls that converge in an azure world, with the semimeridian and the gold equator, added of gold cross."
