This informative trail consists of 10 interpretive signs posted on the side of a wide concreate path. The signs have information about Birds, Fish, Fishing on the Red River, Invasive Species, M.B. Johnson Park, Local History, Red River of the North, Snakey Creek, Wetlands, and Wood Ducks.

The trail was created by River Keepers, a local group established in 1990 that coordinates efforts in conservation, safety, recreation, riparian restoration and water quality among local agencies in the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota region.

The trail is not a loop and the coordinates for this Waymark is at what I think of as the Starting Point of the trail. At the far end the trail will loop back on itself and those walking the trail can retrace the first half of the trail to get back to their cars while staying on the smooth concreate.
