Weatherford is home to the Stafford Air & Space Museum. Rt. 66 Park features a space-themed playground for children, with an elevated earth and rocketship.
The globe is about 3 feet in diameter, and is atop an approximately 10 foot tall pole. It is between two car-part benches on the south side of the playground. The continents are rough approximations, shown on all sides of the structure.
