The town of Stonewall has definitely seen better days. Established in 1874, the town has seen its ups and downs, and currently has a population of about 500. Much of the downtown street is vacant and in disrepair.
Just west of 100 Main Street, an abandoned one-story brick building stands in ruins. The windows are boarded, the clerestory is covered with corrugated metal, and the building is vacant. Above the storefront a sign was painted on the brick many years ago. We were unable to confirm what it says. Maybe your eyes are better than ours. What we came up with was FICKR and INNES DRUG STORE which surely isn't correct. Try your luck.
