"Hermann Area District Hospital is a 24 bed Critical Access Hospital located in the beautiful town of Hermann, Missouri at 509 W. 18th Street, just over the hill from Stone Hill Winery.
"We are honored to have been the first district hospital in the state of Missouri due to the efforts of a small group of people in the 1960s who felt the strong need to have a hospital in our rural community. Because of their efforts, we are here today and are fortunate to have saved and aided countless lives throughout the years. We are happy and honored to have served our community’s healthcare needs these past 50 plus years and look forward to another 50.
"We may be over 50 years old, however our building has had a total renovation in 2009, allowing us to offer a state-of-the-art building to our patients and families. "Hermann Hospital offers a variety of services for our patients, such as Emergency Care, Surgery Services, Skilled Care, Acute Care, Rehab Therapy, Sleep Studies, and a Home Health agency that reaches throughout our hospital district. We have a full Clinical Laboratory onsite, as well as a Radiology/Imaging, Respiratory Care, and more. There are also several Outpatient Clinics available to our patients, which are located onsite at Hermann Hospital: Audiology, Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopedic, Podiatry, and Urology.
"Our hospital has grown through the years, resulting in the ownership and operations of four health clinics, two of which are located in Hermann, and two others in our neighboring communities, Owensville and Montgomery City. We have experienced and caring Providers who are available to address your needs.
