The stone quarry Carrière des Grands Caous is located near Boulouris-sur-Mer between Saint-Raphaël and Agay. The countryside around the quarry is a nature preserve area and a popular destination for hikers.
At one of the hiking paths there is this striking megalith. The single stone emerges about 1.5 meters from the grass ground. It is vertical and slightly inclined. I wasn't able to find any information on its age or origin, but it appears to be quite old.
