A fascinating series of Air and Space silhouettes line the drive to the Stafford Air and Space Museum.

Jim Cobb Drive, from Main St. in Weatherford, north to the Stafford Air and Space Museum and Stafford Airport is lined on both sides with silhouette art. Each piece is a design of an air or space craft. Driving from south to north, the planes/ships are shows from the early days of flight to the current ones used today.
Each piece is atop a pole that's about 9 feet tall. each plane/craft design is approximately 3 ft square, all black metal. There are about 20 that line the drive, on both sides and can easily be seen from either direction.
The artist who created these did a wonderful job with not only detail but capturing a general, recognizable image of air and space flight thru the years.
