"The wall must have been built at the time of the creation of the county (1369) although there may have been something earlier. It was the building of poor quality and despite being reinforced with bastions in the s. XVI they were already ruin in the XVII. In the 18th century, material began to be reused and in the 19th century the doors were torn down. Only vestiges remain in some houses."
