Mulhall experienced a catastrophic disaster on May 3, 1999 when an F5 tornado plowed through town, destroying 80% of the town, including the former water tower.

This tank has a single pipe support with a spherical tank. The words "Mulhall Est. 1889" are painted on the tank. The tank is located on Sullivan Avenue, just east of N. Craig Street, and just west of the Baptist church.
