This mural is placed at the entry of the district Irlich in Neuwied. It shows the district at the time of the first half of the 20th century. Near the wall where the mural has been drawn on, your find a memorial for the people who dies at the bomb-raid in November 1944. The picture shows the entry of the village together with the bridge over the river Wied around the year 1870. It has been painted by Cilly Damen, a local artist.
