"The choir and the nave were built in the 12th century. In the 18th century, a third bay was added to the choir, as well as side chapels and a bell tower-porch. The church was completely rebuilt in the 19th century: the plans of the choir and the transept were drawn up in 1856 by a bayeusain architect, and the work carried out from 1857 to 1861, extending until 1865 by the addition of two bays to the nave on the intervention of a master From 1867 to 1870, the latter had the first bay of the nave and the bell-tower built.
The church dedicated to Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, is located in a valley by the sea. The oriented building follows a Latin cross plan with a projecting transept. The nave and the choir have respectively four bays. The church is preceded by a steeple-porch and ends with a flat apse.
The entrance facade consists of the bell tower-porch preceded by a projecting portal with a triangular pediment and supported by buttresses surmounted by pinnacles. The portal is surmounted by a statue of the Virgin hiding the rose of the tympanum. The square section bell tower, supported by angular buttresses, is made up of three levels. The first is bare, the second accommodates the clock face and the third is pierced with arched windows fitted with louvers. It is crowned by a polygonal freestone spire framed by pinnacles.
The nave is punctuated by arched windows and buttresses. The bedside is pierced with three thin arched windows. The whole is covered with a saddleback roof. "

" Le choeur et la nef ont été construits au XIIe siècle. Au XVIIIe siècle, une troisième travée est rajoutée au choeur, ainsi que des chapelles latérales et un clocher-porche. L’église a été entièrement rebâtie au XIXe siècle : les plans du choeur et du transept ont été dressés en 1856 par un architecte bayeusain, et les travaux réalisés de 1857 à 1861, se prolongeant jusqu’en 1865 par l’adjonction de deux travées à la nef sur l’intervention d’un maitre d’oeuvre caennais. Ce dernier fait construire de 1867 à 1870 la première travée de la nef et le clocher-porche.
L’église dédiée à saint Pierre, patron des pêcheurs, est située dans un vallon au bord de la mer. L’édifice orienté suit un plan en croix latine avec transept saillant. La nef et le choeur possèdent respectivement quatre travées. L’église est précédée par un clocher-porche et se termine par un chevet plat.
La façade d’entrée est constituée du clocher-porche devancé par un portail en saillie à fronton triangulaire et épaulée par des contreforts surmontés de clochetons. Le portail est surmonté par une statue de la Vierge cachant la rose du tympan. Le clocher de section carrée, épaulé par des contreforts angulaires, est constitué de trois niveaux. Le premier est nu, le deuxième accueille le cadran d’horloge et le troisième est percé de baies cintrées munies d’abats-sons. Il est couronné par une flèche polygonale en pierre de taille encadrée de clochetons.
La nef est rythmée par des baies cintrées et des contreforts. Le chevet est percé de trois fines baies cintrées. L’ensemble est couvert d’une toiture en bâtière. "
