The Campbell Hotel was constructed in 1927 as the Casa Loma Hotel. The mission/Spanish colonial revival style building was conveniently located at the end of the trolley line that ran from downtown to Delaware Avenue on historic Route 66 (11th Street) and was a popular destination for visiting businessmen and tourists alike. The hotel closed for major renovations and re-opened in 2011, with 26 upscale rooms - some with the original tile floors. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
