DE: Nach dem ersten Weltkrieg, gefolgt von der Inflation und Weltwirtschaftskrise dauerte es mehrere Jahre, bis die wirtschaftliche Lage in Brühl wieder Investitionen durch die Stadt erlaubte. So wurde dann im Jahr 1927 die Wohnsiedlung Römerhof gebaut, die sozialen Wohnungsbau und Eigenheime in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft vereinigte. Geplant und beaufsichtigt wurde der Bau der Anlage durch den Architekten Josef Baedorf. Beim zentralen Bau der Siedlung, dem Haus Römerhof 38 wurde eine weitere Etage und wie bei den Häusern am Zugang zum Römerhof Arkadenelemente eingebracht. In die Denkmalliste der Stadt Brühl wurde das Haus Römerhof 38 unter der Nummer 204 eingetragen.

The Römerhof housing estate was built in 1927, combining social housing and private homes in the immediate vicinity. The construction of the facility was planned and supervised by the architect Josef Baedorf. In the central building of the settlement, the house Römerhof 38, an additional floor and, as with the houses at the entrance to the Römerhof, arcade elements were added. The house Römerhof 38 was entered in the list of monuments of the city of Brühl under the number 204.
