This basketball court is at the north end of Hollywood Neighborhood Park in College Park, Maryland. Hoops and nets needed attention or replacement the day of my visit.

This basketball court is at the north end of Hollywood Neighborhood Park in College Park, Maryland.
The plain blacktop playing surface runs east to west. The boundary lines are white. The fan-shaped backboards are solid white and mounted to round galvanized steel posts. The eastern backboard had no rim the day I visited. A homemade net of nylon straps stood in for a regular net on the other end. One park bench is on the north edge.
Hollywood is the largest and most populous of 17 neighborhoods in the city. Lots of single family homes are within walking distance of the park in its northeast corner. There is a decent amount of spots in the parking lot, too. The park is also accessible by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority METRO at the Greenbelt Station.
