Situated at the southern side of Manville, Rhode Island's Manville Memorial Park is a basketball court with an unusual trio of hoops.

The east/west playing surface is dark green with a red center court circle and free throw lanes. The boundary lines are white and a broad red boarder surrounds the court. The rectangle backboards are clear acrylic with white shooter's squares, orange hoops and white nylon nets.

High-grade, green-coated park benches and a small, square scorer's table are permanently installed along the southern side of the court. A diminutive duo of lights is mounted to a wood utility pole centered on the opposite sideline.

I'm not sure why, but there are back-to-back baskets on the western post. That in itself may not be out of the ordinary for back-to-back courts, though the playing surface beneath the furthest west hoop only extends a few feet; less than the distance to a free throw line. Yet, there are no basketball markings. A pair of four-square games spaces are marked out at the corners of the basketball court in this extended area. Posted closing hour is 9:00PM daily. A lot for parking runs along the east side of the park.
