"I had seen little free libraries in Seattle when I was visiting my daughter, but thought nothing of it until I saw a couple in Santa Clara while walking my dog. COVID struck and the libraries closed, making it difficult to get books without buying them. My partner loves to build things and always has materials, so when I asked him if he might be willing, he jumped at the chance. He gets excited whenever he sees people using the little library."
