While visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore (and walking to an EarthCache), we were amazed to see this very young painted turtle attempting to cross a road. We've never seen a turtle this young in the wild before.

Helped it to cross the road, and hoped the youngster found its way to its mother.
