The cave is actually a super-sized sculpture crafted and painted to look like a real cave.

Emmanuel Didier of Fort Collins, Colorado, is the landscape architect who designed Childhood's Gate.

You can explore the cave, finding a sandbox, stalactites, stalagmites, and water inside.

There is no fee to enjoy the garden and cave. There might be a fee to park on campus.

The grounds are open from dawn to dusk.
