This small rural cemetery is all that remains of the former settlement of Pinkerton, once about a mile to the northeast. The photo on the find-a-grave web site shows an intact gate and little growth. It appears that the Sloan family tried to keep it going - the few recent burials are from that family - but now the gate is down and the cemetery is entirely overgrown.
