Located in section “B” plot “37” is American branch of the Bonaparte family based from the marriage between Jérôme Bonaparte and Elizabeth "Betsy" Patterson. However this plot excludes Elizabeth “Betsy” Patterson as she is buried at Green Mount Cemetery.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Patterson Was married to Napoleon’s youngest brother Jérôme Bonaparte from 1803-1805. They had one child Jérôme Napoléon Bonaparte who married Susan May Williams and had two sons Jérôme Napoléon Bonaparte II and Charles Joseph Bonaparte. Both sons married and had children, only one is buried here (Jérôme Napoléon Charles Bonaparte). In addition to the direct Bonaparte family buried here is also the mother of Susan May Williams Bonaparte (Sarah Copeland) and Ellen Channing Day Bonaparte (Anna Jones Day).

The Burial plot a rectangle with an Obelisk in the center and nine large gravestones on three sides and six smaller ones in a row directly behind the obelisk, leaving the front open. The 8 sided obelisk is roughly 12 feet tall and sits on a 4 foot tall base. On the front of the obelisk is a crest that has two bar sinisters and a star on the lower right and upper left and a 9 pointed crown on top.
