FT. Bayard goes back to the time of Geronimo.
This was one of the forts used by the Military to defend against him.
The Original water tank is gone but this one that is here is one of the Oldest 4 legged tanks I have recovered across the USA.
Wheeler's Astronomic Station is just south of here as well.
