This trail register is on a tree alongside the Tunxis Trail in New Hartford, CT. Coming from south to north, cross the brook about 1.5 miles from the start of the trail and it is on a tree immediately on the left. It’s not large or ornate. The book inside is a store-bought journal. It also is stocked with pencils and a sharpener. This is a lovely spot to stop and rest before the trail bends right and starts uphill.
