The book exchange unit is tall and wide, and deep enough for holding text books and children books. There is the bottom shelf and a top shelf. The outside is decorated in shades of green striped on the front and has nature-themed art designs on each side panel. A window on the top half of the door gives a view of the top shelf selections.

The concept of the community book exchange is for people within a community to stop by the unit and examine the selection of books at that time. If you see a book you'd like to read, feel free to take it out and take it with you.
