Native of Montreal, Catherine St-Pierre (SICAT) discovered her love of animals through her training in zoo technology.
She then redirected her career to a more manual profession, massage therapy.
At the same time as this profession, she learned about sculpture and fell in love at first sight. Self-taught, she now rubs shoulders with several materials: wood, clay, pressed paper, wax and finally bronze which immortalizes her creations.
She has lived in Inverness for nine years.
His first horse became her favorite subject.
Her work is called Tel un Funambule, since it is as difficult for a horse to rear as it is for a tightrope walker to stand on a wire.

This Bronze can be seen in front of the Post Office in the center of Inverness.
