This Lucky 7 is centred around the eastern side of Forfar, the county town of Angus in eastern Scotland. The centre point is at the East Port with the plaque marking the front of the former Secession Manse, where Dr John Jamieson compiled the Dictionary of Scottish Language in the 18th century. The other six waymarks are:

The barber pole outside Bodrum Turkish Barber in East High Street.

Forfar Community Fire Station, which was opened in 1997 on Strang Street.

The North Street Chip Shop, situated on the east side of the street of the same name.

The spire of the Lowson Memorial Church on Montrose Road. Built by A Marshal Mackenzie in 1914.

Newmonthill Cemetery, the town's main cemetery, built on high ground to the south in 1849.

Forfar Bowling Club's lawn green, the club moved here just off the Lour Road in 1894.
