Rørbæk Sø ligger i en tunneldal på den jydske højderyg. Den har et overfladeareal på 83 ha og er 7 m dyb. Det er muligt at fiske i den vestlige ende af søen. Iøvrigt er den vestlige ende også den mest besøgte, da der er både er ishus og cafe´. Den østlige ende af søen er ikke så besøgt, og der er mere fred og ro. Og de flotteste udsigter er også i den østlige ende af søen
Der er en 11 km vandrerute rundt om søen, lettere kuperet, igennem lyngområder og gammelt egekrat og med flere udsigtspunkter til Rørbæk Sø.

Rørbæk Lake is located in a tunnel valley on the Jutland ridge. It has a area of 83 ha and is 7 m deep. It is possible to fish at the western end of the lake. Incidentally, the western end is also the most visited as there is a cafe´. The eastern end of the lake is not so visited and there is more peace and quiet. And the most beautiful views are also at the eastern end of the lake
There is an 11 km hiking route around the lake, slightly hilly, through heather areas and old oak scrub and with several viewpoints to Rørbæk Lake.
