The Château de Serrant has preserved an exceptional collection of furniture and works of art amassed over the centuries by the families who have lived there. This unique collection was classified as a Historic Monument in 2001: it is a first in France for a private residence!

Guided tour
Through some fifteen rooms, the visit takes you to discover the life of an authentic and preserved castle. The guides will share their favorites with you and show you all the must-see places of the castle.

A guided tour of the emblematic parts of Serrant is offered to complete your discovery. It offers access to the most fragile areas of the castle:
the Empire room, with furniture and works of art reminiscent of the arrival of Napoleon I and Joséphine de Beauharnais at the Château de Serrant

Visit of the park
The visit of the interiors would not be finished without a stroll in the English-style park laid out in 1820. The Promenade de la Duchesse takes the paths of the landscaped park between groves of exotic trees and romantic water features. By privatizing the premises, you can also access the outdoor spaces of the castle's common areas: the dovecote, the Duchess' manor and the orangery.

En privatisant les lieux, vous pouvez aussi accéder aux espaces extérieurs des parties communes du château : le pigeonnier, le manoir de la Duchesse et l'orangerie.
