FR La Baume est un ancien hameau du XVII ou XVIIIe siècle qui figure sur la carte de Cassini (1778).
Cinq unités d’habitation contiguës y étaient bâties, tout en galets transportés par la Durance d’autrefois ; l’une des habitations prend appui sur le rocher, à l’endroit d’une grotte d’où le nom de la Baume. On y devine les restes d'une chapelle.
Sur les hauteurs, une ancienne voûte a pu protéger une source.
Au point le plus élevé du hameau, un oratoire protège les lieux
EN La Baume is an old hamlet from the 17th or 18th century which appears on the Cassini map (1778).
Five adjoining housing units were built there, all in pebbles transported by the Durance of yesteryear; One of the dwellings rests on the rock, at the site of a cave hence the name of La Baume. We can guess the remains of a chapel.
On the heights, an old vault was able to protect a source.
At the highest point of the hamlet, an oratory protects the premises
