Als inwoner van Lopik zag ik op nextdoor (buurtapp) een aankondiging van een nieuwe minibibliotheek, speciaal voor kinderen. Nou is mijn dochter een echte boekenwurm dus we besloten er een kijkje te nemen. De minibieb bevindt zich aan de Rietkraag bij het laatste huis aan de rand van de dorpskern. Ik vond hem erg netjes en er zaten leuke boeken in. We hebben zo'n drie boeken geruild die mijn dochter nu erg graag leest.
Ik vond dit nog op internet van kinderzwerfboek.nl:
Kinderzwerfboek wil alle kinderen de mogelijkheid bieden om leuke boeken mee naar huis te nemen en te lezen. En daarna het boek weer te laten zwerven zodat andere kinderen hetzelfde boek ook kunnen lezen. De bedenker van Kinderzwerfboek is Leo Dijkgraaf. In 2010 bestond het Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp 50 jaar. Voor die gelegenheid gaf Leo Dijkgraaf het idee ‘Kinderzwerfboek’ cadeau. Op 26 mei 2010 gaf Prinses Laurentien het startsein en gingen de eerste kinderboeken zwerven door Nederland. Sinds 2014 worden er KinderzwerfboekStations opgericht in het hele land, hier kan een kind een boek halen of een boek brengen óf allebei.
As a resident of Lopik, I saw an announcement on nextdoor (neighborhood app) of a new mini library, especially for children. My daughter is a real bookworm so we decided to take a look. The mini library is located on the Rietkraag at the last house on the edge of the village center. I thought it was very neat and it contained nice books. We swapped about three books that my daughter really likes to read now.

The creator of Kinderzwerfboek is Leo Dijkgraaf. In 2010, the National Children's Aid Fund celebrated its 50th anniversary. For that occasion, Leo Dijkgraaf gave the idea "Children's Book" as a gift. On May 26, 2010, Princess Laurentien gave the go-ahead and the first children's books started roaming through the Netherlands. Since 2014, KinderzwerfboekStations have been set up all over the country, where a child can pick up a book or bring a book or both.
